Permits And Timings

Day visit permits must be obtained at the Dudhwa reception. For night stays, contact the Field Director’s office.Permits are valid for single entry only and are non-

transferable.Visiting hours must be followed, and driving after sunset is not allowed for safety reasons.

Accommodation and Facilities

 

Accommodation is reserve only after full payment, and bookings will be cancelled if not claimed by 4 p.m. on the first day.

Cooking is allowed only in designated areas (except at the Dudhwa Tourist Complex); basic utensils are available.

Alcohol, non-vegetarian food, and loud music or transistors are not permitted in the reserve.

Other Important Guidelines

 

Switch off electrical appliances and water taps when not in use, and park vehicles only in designated areas.

Collect a clearance certificate before leaving the reserve.

Follow all speed limits and avoid blowing horns.

The reserve is governed by the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, and the Director reserves the right of entry.

General Rules for Visitors

 

Firearms, pets, and smoking (outside designated areas) are not allowed in the Tiger Reserve.

Walking, trekking, fishing, and venturing outside eco-tourism zones or non-designated routes are prohibited.

Littering is strictly banned; use garbage bins for biodegradable waste and carry non-biodegradable waste out of the park.

Shouting, teasing, chasing, or feeding animals is a punishable offence
